GreenBoard commercial accounts provide tiered volume discounts from 8% to fully negotiated enterprise pricing, payment terms from net-15 to net-45, and operational infrastructure — dedicated reps, inventory holds, priority access — that turns reclaimed lumber from a specialty sourcing exercise into a reliable material supply chain.

Volume Pricing Tiers

Tier qualification is based on rolling 12-month board-foot volume. New accounts are initially placed at the tier matching their projected annual volume and reviewed quarterly. All pricing is applied at the time of invoicing against current published list prices.

Minimum order quantities apply per individual order, not per year. Enterprise (Tier 4) minimums are set during account negotiation based on project cadence and species mix. Custom milling orders carry separate minimums — contact us for details.

Commercial Account Benefits

Volume discounts are the most visible benefit of a commercial account, but the operational advantages are often worth more on complex projects.

Net-30 & Extended Payment Terms

Qualified commercial accounts receive net-30 payment terms starting at Tier 2. Enterprise accounts can negotiate net-45 or milestone-based billing to align with project draw schedules. Credit applications are processed within five business days.

Dedicated Account Representative

Tier 3 and Tier 4 accounts receive a dedicated GreenBoard account rep — a single point of contact for quotes, order status, inventory alerts, and documentation requests. Your rep maintains knowledge of your active projects and proactively notifies you when relevant material enters our inventory.

Priority Inventory Access

Commercial accounts at Tier 3 and above receive 48-hour advance notice and right of first refusal on incoming salvage lots before material is listed publicly. For projects with specific species or dimension requirements, we can reserve material from acquisition through delivery.

Sample Program

Tier 2 and above accounts receive complimentary sample kits — up to six 12-inch samples of any species or profile from current inventory. Samples arrive with moisture content data, grade notes, and provenance information to support your design and specification process.

Project Documentation Package

Every commercial order ships with a complete documentation package: material receipt, grade summary, moisture readings, chain-of-custody records, and — for green building projects — a LEED waste diversion letter and CALGreen compliance statement at no additional cost.

Volume Reservation & Inventory Hold

Commercial accounts can place a reservation hold on up to 30% of their annual volume commitment at any time, locking current pricing for up to 90 days while project timelines finalize. Holds require a 10% deposit, credited against final invoice.

How to Apply for a Commercial Account

The application process is straightforward. Most accounts are approved and ready to place their first order within one week of application submission.

Submit Your Application

Contact our commercial team at wholesale@lumber-recycling-la.com or call us directly. Provide your company name, estimated annual board-foot volume, primary material needs, and preferred payment terms. We will send you a short credit application within one business day.

Credit Review

Our finance team reviews your credit application within five business days. For net-30 or net-45 terms, we run a standard trade credit check. Net-15 accounts may be approved with a brief review. Accounts that prefer to pay via ACH or card can be approved immediately without a credit review.

Tier Assignment & Account Setup

Based on your projected annual volume, we assign your initial pricing tier. Your dedicated account rep (Tier 3+) contacts you to introduce themselves and walk through inventory, ordering procedures, and documentation workflows. Tier 1 and 2 accounts receive onboarding via email with our commercial ordering portal login.

Place Your First Order

With your account active, you can order by phone, email, or our commercial portal. Specify species, dimensions, grade requirements, surface finish, and delivery location. Your rep or our order desk will confirm availability, lead time, and pricing within four business hours.

Ongoing Account Management

Your tier is reviewed quarterly based on rolling 12-month volume. Tier upgrades take effect immediately when volume thresholds are crossed. Annual account reviews include pricing discussions, volume projections, and opportunities to customize your account terms as your project pipeline grows.
