DTLA Loft Conversion — Arts District
Reclaimed Douglas Fir, 2x8 & 2x10
Full interior paneling and exposed beam installation for a 3,200 sq ft loft conversion in Downtown Los Angeles. The century-old Douglas Fir adds warmth and industrial character to the modern open floor plan. Five 20-foot decorative beams were custom-stained to complement the concrete and steel architecture. The project earned LEED Silver certification partly due to reclaimed material usage.
Venice Beach Farm-to-Table Restaurant
Heart Pine flooring & White Oak bar top
Custom-milled Heart Pine flooring and a 16-foot live-edge White Oak bar top for a farm-to-table restaurant on Abbot Kinney Boulevard. The reclaimed materials tell a story that matches the restaurant's philosophy of sustainability. The Heart Pine was sourced from a demolished textile mill in Georgia and re-milled to 3/4-inch tongue-and-groove flooring in our Commerce facility.
Pasadena Craftsman Bungalow Restoration
Old-growth Redwood siding & trim
Period-appropriate old-growth Redwood siding and trim to restore a 1912 Craftsman bungalow listed on the Pasadena Historic Register. The reclaimed Redwood matches the original material perfectly in grain, color, and dimension. We sourced the material from a demolished winery building in Sonoma County that used identical old-growth Redwood from the same era.
Craft Brewery Taproom — Portland, OR
Reclaimed barn wood & timber beams
Mixed species barn wood wall cladding and six massive Douglas Fir decorative beams (8x12, 24-foot spans) for a 5,000 sq ft brewery taproom. Each wall board was hand-selected for color variation, creating a mosaic of tones from silver-gray to deep amber. The beams were sourced from an 1890s grain elevator in Eastern Oregon.
Silver Lake Modern Residence
Reclaimed White Oak wide-plank flooring
Wide-plank reclaimed White Oak flooring throughout a 2,800 sq ft modern home designed by a prominent LA architecture firm. The quarter-sawn boards showcase dramatic medullary ray figure against the home's minimalist architecture. Boards are 7-10 inches wide and up to 12 feet long — dimensions not available in modern White Oak production.
Tech Company HQ — Santa Monica
Reclaimed Doug Fir, tongue-and-groove
Feature walls and ceiling paneling across three floors of a tech company's 8,000 sq ft office on Ocean Avenue. Custom-milled tongue-and-groove reclaimed Douglas Fir in a wire-brushed finish brings biophilic warmth to the open-plan workspace. The project used wood from a single source — a demolished 1940s cannery in San Pedro — ensuring consistent color throughout.
Bespoke Dining Table Collection
Live-edge Black Walnut slabs
Three live-edge Black Walnut dining tables commissioned by a Beverly Hills interior designer. Each slab is 42-48 inches wide, 8-10 feet long, and 2.5 inches thick. Kiln-dried to 7% moisture content, flattened with our CNC router sled, and finished with hardwax oil in our facility before delivery. Matching waterfall-edge side tables completed each set.
Echo Park Community Garden
Mixed reclaimed softwood
Raised garden beds, a pergola, and fencing built entirely from reclaimed lumber donated by GreenBoard as part of our community give-back program. Over 30 volunteers helped build the garden using reclaimed 2x6 and 2x8 Cedar and Douglas Fir. The project diverted 900 board feet from the waste stream while creating a community gathering space.
Malibu Beachfront Deck & Pergola
Reclaimed Ipe & Douglas Fir timbers
A 1,200 sq ft oceanfront deck built with reclaimed Ipe decking boards salvaged from a demolished commercial boardwalk. The Douglas Fir pergola timbers (6x8) provide shade and structure. The naturally salt-resistant Ipe was an ideal match for the coastal environment, and using reclaimed stock saved the client nearly 40% versus new Ipe pricing.
Boutique Hotel Lobby — West Hollywood
Reclaimed Heart Pine paneling & stair treads
Floor-to-ceiling Heart Pine paneling in the lobby and reception area of a 45-room boutique hotel. The 100-year-old Heart Pine glows under warm lighting, creating an atmosphere of historic luxury. We also provided custom-milled stair treads (2-inch thick, 12 inches wide, bullnose edge) for the main staircase connecting the lobby to the mezzanine.
Highland Park Record Shop
Reclaimed mixed softwood, rough-sawn
Rough-sawn reclaimed lumber in mixed species and grades for wall cladding, shelving, and record bin dividers. The deliberate variety of tones and textures — from smooth planed Pine to deeply weathered Fir — creates an eclectic, authentic atmosphere that matches the shop's curated-vintage aesthetic.
Koreatown Mixed-Use Development
Reclaimed Douglas Fir structural beams
Twelve structural Douglas Fir beams (6x12, 8x12) spanning 20-28 feet for the ground-floor retail space of a new mixed-use building. Each beam was engineering-graded and load-tested. The exposed reclaimed beams contrast with the building's modern glass and concrete exterior, creating a dramatic entry experience.
Culver City Co-Working Space
Reclaimed Cedar & Fir partition walls
Sound-dampening partition walls between workspaces built from 1x6 reclaimed Cedar and Douglas Fir boards mounted in alternating horizontal patterns. The natural variation in wood color serves as a design feature while the thick solid-wood walls provide superior acoustic separation compared to standard drywall partitions.
Topanga Canyon Artist Studio
Reclaimed barn wood siding
Exterior cladding for a 600 sq ft detached artist studio in Topanga Canyon. Weathered barn boards in silver-gray tones blend naturally with the canyon landscape. The boards were sourced from a collapsed dairy barn in Central Oregon and retain their original saw marks and natural silver patina from decades of weather exposure.
Manhattan Beach Custom Home
Reclaimed White Oak & Walnut
A complete interior package: reclaimed White Oak flooring (2,100 BF), a Black Walnut kitchen island slab (16 feet), and Douglas Fir exposed ceiling beams. The homeowner wanted every visible wood surface in the house to be reclaimed. We sourced, milled, and finished all materials over a 3-month timeline coordinated with their general contractor.
Public Library Reading Room — Glendale
Reclaimed Maple & Douglas Fir
Reading tables, shelving units, and ceiling paneling for a renovated public library reading room. The reclaimed Maple tables were built from gymnasium flooring salvaged from a demolished school in Burbank. Douglas Fir ceiling boards create a warm canopy overhead. The project demonstrated that reclaimed wood meets public-facility durability requirements.
